For The Record is finally out now! ♡

It’s hard to find the right words to describe what this experience and this album has meant to me.

I’ve been creating music since I was a little girl.

The very first song I ever wrote was on an out-of-tune piano about Peter Pan, and I haven’t stopped writing since.

This album was a creative leap for me.

Working with Ian Barter pruned my skills in ways I couldn’t have done myself. This project refined my writing, skill, speed, and creativity while pushing me into new genres and new ways of creating

Going from writing songs in my bedroom on my guitar to flying across the country and creating music in London, I couldn’t help but feel like this project was a leap of faith.

Little did I know, that leap would lead me to my first record deal with MackLife Records and the privilege of working alongside some of the most talented people in the music industry.

Because of this music, the help of my team at MackLife, and bandmates, I have been able to grow from a resturant singer to completing my first summer tour, spanning across the midwest to Los Angeles, California.

Ian , thank you for helping me bring these songs to life. Without your creative brilliance, this project would not be what it is. You are one of the most dynamic, genuine, and unique composers and producers I’ve ever had the honor of working with.

Thank you to Mark Morrison and Scott Shephard at MackLife for believing in this project and helping it reach people quite literally all over the world.

And to my bandmates, the AlyCats — thank you for touring this music with me and breathing new life into it every time we step on stage. I truly could not have done this without you: Arya Lakshman, Braedan Handy, Peter Kim, and Sam Morgan.

One of the most beautiful parts of growing as a songwriter is allowing each project to reflect a new version of yourself and carrying that growth into whatever comes next.
